The Slatterly Park Neighborhood Association will be hosting a water stop in Slatterly Park for the Annual Med City Marathon, this Sunday May 26th in the morning from 8:30 – 12:00pm. The Slatterly water stop will be at mile marker 19 in the park, which is part of the 26.2 mile loop through Rochester, which is located at the interesection of 8 1/2 street SE (across the bridge from the Slatterly Park playground on the main trail). This is a great way to showcase our neighborhood, and show our support for the runners, who are raising money for a great cause.
We need several volunteers to make this happen, please contact Evelyn Oftedahl eoftedahl@gmail.com if you are able to volunteer, you can help as long as you would like, even if you can only give an hour. This event is a great family friendly event!
